About this game

Mini golf is golf with all the walking removed and all the tricky bits kept in. Each hole is a small obstacle course of walls, angles and slopes, and your task is to nudge the ball into the cup in as few strokes as you can. Pull back to set your power and direction, let go, and watch it ricochet toward the hole.

The charm is in the bank shot. Because every hole is bounded by walls, the direct line is rarely the best one, and the satisfying putts are the ones that carom off a wall to curl around an obstacle and drop in. Reading those angles is the whole skill, and it rewards patience over power every time.

Tips & strategy

Use the walls on purpose. The straight path to the cup is usually blocked, so plan your shot as a bank off a wall that curls the ball around the obstacle. Once you start reading rebounds like a pool player, holes that looked impossible open right up.

Ease off the power. Most missed putts are hit too hard, sending the ball rattling off walls past the cup. A gentle, controlled tap that dies near the hole leaves you a tap-in even if it does not drop, whereas a hard shot that misses can end up further away than you started.

Look at the whole hole before your first stroke. Spotting the slopes and the tightest gap in advance lets you plan a two-stroke route rather than improvising and burning shots. Your score is the total across all holes, so a wasted stroke here counts the same as one anywhere.

When in doubt, aim to leave an easy next putt rather than gambling on a hole-in-one. A safe shot that sets up a simple tap-in beats a risky one that could leave the ball in a corner. Consistency over the whole course is what keeps your total low.

Questions

How do I putt?

Drag back from the ball to set direction and power, like pulling back a slingshot, then release.

How is my score counted?

By total strokes across every hole. Fewer is better, exactly like real golf.

Can I bounce off the walls?

Yes, and you usually have to. Bank shots off the walls are how you reach cups the direct line cannot.

What happens after the last hole?

Your total stroke count is shown, so you can try to beat it next time.

Do I have to sign up to play?

Completely free, with no trial and no unlock. Mini Golf loads with the page and plays immediately, without an install step or a video ad first.
