Privacy policy

Last updated: this release. Written to be readable by a parent in two minutes.

The short version

You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, your age, your email address or anything else about you. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile. Your game scores are saved in your own browser and never leave your device.

This site is made for children

Because children use this site, we treat it as child-directed under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and equivalent rules elsewhere. In practice that means three things. Advertising is set to non-personalised only, so advertisers cannot build a profile of the person playing. Analytics runs with advertising signals switched off and with IP addresses shortened before they are stored. And we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone of any age.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact page, write to us and we will delete it. You do not need to explain why.

What is stored on your device

Games save your best scores using your browser's local storage. This stays on the device, is readable only by this site, and is never uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes it, and nothing breaks if you do.

If you add the site to your home screen, a service worker stores the pages so the games keep working without a connection. That is a copy of the site itself, not information about you.

Third parties

Nothing is loaded until you choose. When you first arrive you are asked whether cookies are acceptable; until you answer, analytics and advertising cookies are switched off. If you say no they stay off, and every game still works exactly as before. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both are configured for child-directed treatment, which limits what they may collect and requires non-personalised ads. Both may set cookies. You can block cookies entirely in your browser and every game on this site will still work, because the games run in the page rather than on a server.

Google's own handling of data is described in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices

Nothing here requires consent to a profile, because no profile exists. You can clear stored scores by clearing site data, block cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker. None of these will stop a game working.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to the address on the contact page.
