Tips & strategy
Do not spin wildly. A wild swing sends the ball in an unpredictable direction as often as it scores, and it usually leaves your defence out of position. A controlled strike from a settled rod is far more likely to find the goal.
Keep your defensive row between the ball and your goal at all times. Most goals conceded in foosball come from a defender who chased the ball forward, leaving an open lane behind them.
Use the walls deliberately. The sides are in play, so angling a strike off a wall can reach a gap that no straight shot could. Once you start banking shots intentionally, scoring gets much easier.
Wait for the ball to settle before striking. Hitting a ball that is still bouncing sends it off unpredictably, whereas a moment of patience gives you a clean contact and a shot you actually aimed.
