Cup Toss is the fairground stall where a stack of cups waits to be knocked down. Drag back to aim, judge your power, and throw. Clear them all and the round is yours. Simple, physical, and satisfying in the way that knocking things over always is.
The physics is what makes it more than target practice. Cups fall into each other, so a well-placed throw at the base of a stack can bring down far more than one aimed at a single cup. Reading where the collapse will spread is the difference between clearing a stack in one throw or four.
Aim low, at the base of the stack. Hitting the bottom cups sends the whole structure toppling, while a throw at the top knocks off one cup and leaves the rest standing.
Aim for the centre of a group rather than a single cup. A ball landing between cups transfers force to several at once, which is how you clear a stack in one throw.
Control your power. A very hard throw can punch straight through and knock down less than a firm, well-placed one that pushes the whole stack over.
Watch what is left standing before your next throw. Remaining cups are often leaning or isolated, and a throw aimed at the leaning one can bring down its neighbour too.
Drag back to set your angle and power, then release, much like a slingshot.
Low and central. Hitting the base of a stack topples far more than hitting the top.
By knocking down every cup on the table.
