Star Collector is a vertical climber with a scoring twist. You bounce automatically from platform to platform, steering left and right, and stars are scattered through the gaps between them. Height alone is not enough; the good runs are the ones that gather stars on the way up.
That second objective is what gives the game its shape. A cautious climb straight up the middle is safe and scores poorly, while a route that swings out for stars risks the landing. Every jump is a small negotiation between height and greed.
Take stars that lie on your route rather than detouring for them. A star directly above the next platform is free; one off to the side usually costs you the landing.
Steer during the rise. Adjusting on the way up gives the bounce time to carry you where you meant to go, while correcting as you fall tends to land you on an edge.
Aim for platform centres. The middle is forgiving and the edges are not, and a single missed landing ends a climb that took a minute to build.
Do not rush upward when the platforms thin out. Waiting for a good bounce beats leaping toward a distant platform you probably cannot reach.
No, bouncing is automatic. You only steer left and right.
They add to your score, so a run is measured by both height and stars collected.
Missing a platform and falling.
Yes, by tapping the left or right side of the screen.
No. Star Collector runs entirely inside this page, so it starts the moment the page opens. There is nothing to download, no plugin, and no account to create.
