About this game

Pinball is the arcade cabinet that never needed a screen. A steel ball, a slanted table, two flippers, and gravity doing the hard work. Your whole job is to keep the ball in play and send it toward whatever scores points, for as long as your reflexes hold out. This version brings that to the browser with the same simple, punishing loop.

What makes pinball stick is that you are never really in control, only in negotiation. The ball goes where physics sends it, and you get two small moments of influence each time it reaches the bottom. Good players are not the ones who react fastest, but the ones who learn where the ball tends to go and are already waiting for it.

Tips & strategy

Do not flap the flippers constantly. Holding them up or hitting empty air just means the flipper is down when the ball actually arrives. Watch the ball, wait, and hit only as it reaches the flipper. A still flipper catches far more balls than a panicking one.

Learn to trap the ball. If you raise a flipper as the ball rolls onto it and hold it, the ball settles against the flipper instead of bouncing away. From that dead stop you can aim a deliberate shot rather than swatting blindly, which is the single biggest jump in control.

The gap between the flippers is where balls die. When the ball is heading straight down the middle, a late flip from either side can nudge it back into play, but the reliable fix is to catch it on one flipper first and never let it reach the centre at speed.

Aim for the same high-value targets repeatedly rather than hitting whatever is closest. Most tables reward combos and repeated hits far more than scattered ones, so a controlled ball you can aim is worth more points than a fast one you are merely surviving.

Questions

How do I control the ball?

You do not, directly. You control two flippers at the bottom and use them to redirect a ball that otherwise obeys gravity.

What ends the game?

Losing the ball down the centre gap. You get a limited number of balls per game.

Can I stop the ball to aim?

Yes, by trapping it against a raised flipper. Learning to trap and then aim is the core skill.

Does it work on touch?

Yes. Tapping the left or right side of the screen works the corresponding flipper.
