About this game

Ninja Run sends you sprinting across rooftops that never stop coming. Jump the gaps, duck under the low obstacles, and keep your footing as the pace climbs. Two controls, one direction, and a distance counter that only goes up while you survive.

The extra dimension over a single-button runner is the choice between jumping and ducking. Every obstacle demands one or the other, and picking wrong is just as fatal as reacting late. That small decision layer is what keeps a runner interesting past the first minute.

Tips & strategy

Read the obstacle shape, not its position. High obstacles need a duck and low ones need a jump, and the shape tells you which well before you are close. Players who react to distance rather than type end up jumping into things.

Do not hold the jump. A single clean press gives you the arc you need, while mashing the key mid-air often triggers a second jump the moment you land, straight into whatever comes next.

Recover your stance immediately after clearing something. Staying crouched or hanging in a jump wastes the moment you need to react to the next obstacle, and obstacles come closer together as the speed builds.

Settle into the rhythm rather than fighting it. Runners accelerate steadily, so anticipating the beat carries you much further than reacting fresh to every single obstacle.

Questions

What are the controls?

Up to jump and down to duck, either with the arrow keys or by swiping.

How do I know whether to jump or duck?

By the obstacle. High ones must be ducked under, low ones jumped over.

Is there an ending?

No, it is endless. You are playing for distance.

Does it speed up?

Yes, continuously, which is what eventually catches everyone out.

Do I have to sign up to play?

No. Ninja Run runs entirely inside this page, so it starts the moment the page opens. There is nothing to download, no plugin, and no account to create.
