Tips & strategy
Bank around twenty. The mathematically strong approach is to keep rolling until your turn total reaches roughly twenty, then bank. That threshold balances the one-in-six chance of losing everything against the points you would gain.
Adjust when you are behind. If your opponent is close to a hundred, the safe strategy stops being correct, because banking small amounts will not catch them. Being behind is when pushing your luck actually becomes the right play.
Adjust when you are ahead too. If you only need a handful of points to win, bank the moment you have enough. There is no prize for the biggest turn, only for reaching the target first.
Remember the odds never change. Each roll carries the same one-in-six chance of a one, regardless of how many safe rolls you have just had. A long lucky run does not mean a one is coming, and it does not mean it is not.
