Castle Guard puts attackers on several lanes converging on your gate. Each lane has a button, and pressing the right one as an attacker reaches the block point stops them. Press the wrong lane, or press too early, and they keep coming.
It is a lane-based rhythm game in armour. The difficulty rises not because the attackers get tougher but because they arrive on more lanes at once, which turns a simple timing task into a test of splitting your attention across the whole screen.
Watch the lanes, not the buttons. Your fingers know where the buttons are; your eyes should be on the attackers so you can see two arrivals coming rather than reacting to one.
Do not press early. A button pressed before the attacker reaches the block point does nothing and leaves you out of position for the actual moment.
Prioritise the closest threat when two arrive together. Blocking the nearer one and accepting a hit from the further one is better than mistiming both.
Keep a steady scan across the lanes. Fixing on one lane is how attackers slip through elsewhere, and the game specifically punishes narrow attention.
By pressing the button for their lane as they reach the block point.
Nothing is blocked, and the attacker continues toward the gate.
Yes, attackers arrive on more lanes simultaneously as the score climbs.
Enough attackers reaching your gate.
No. Castle Guard runs entirely inside this page, so it starts the moment the page opens. There is nothing to download, no plugin, and no account to create.
