Car Racing puts you on a busy road with traffic coming at you and asks a simple question: how long can you keep going? Steer between the lanes, thread the gaps, and watch the speed creep up as your distance grows. There is no finish line, only the crash that eventually comes.
What makes an endless driver work is the way it forces you to plan while moving. You cannot brake your way out of trouble, so every gap you aim for has to be chosen several car lengths early. As the speed rises, the moment you have to decide gets shorter and shorter until reflexes give out.
Pick your gap early and commit. Hesitating in the middle of two lanes is the most dangerous place to be, because you have no room either side. Choose the lane you want while the traffic is still distant and move decisively.
Stay in the middle lanes when the road is clear. From the centre you can move either way, whereas hugging an edge means a car appearing on your only open side leaves you nowhere to go.
Look far up the road, not just in front of your bonnet. The traffic pattern several lengths ahead tells you which lane will be open when you arrive, and that is the only useful information at high speed.
Make small, early corrections rather than sharp late ones. Swerving at the last moment overshoots into the next lane, which is how a clean run ends in a car you never even saw.
No, it is an endless driver. You are playing for distance and a high score.
Yes, speed increases the further you drive, which is the whole difficulty curve.
No. You can only steer, which is what makes early lane choices so important.
Yes, you can steer by touch as well as with the keyboard.
