Drag the paddle and keep the ball up
| Drag | Move the paddle. |
Bouncing Ball gives you a paddle and one ball. Slide the paddle underneath, bounce the ball back up, and keep the streak going. Every bounce counts, and a single miss ends it.
The skill is in where you make contact. Catching the ball centrally sends it straight up and buys you time; catching it near the edge sends it off at an angle that becomes progressively harder to recover. Long streaks come from controlling the angle, not from fast reactions.
Aim to hit the ball with the middle of the paddle. A central bounce goes straight up and gives you the longest time to reposition, while an edge hit sends the ball travelling sideways.
Move to where the ball will land, not where it is. Following it across the screen means arriving late, whereas reading its arc and waiting in position is calm and reliable.
Return toward the centre between bounces. From the middle you can reach either side, and drifting to an edge means a ball to the far corner is gone before you start moving.
Use small movements. Large paddle swings overshoot and introduce angles you did not intend, which is what turns a steady rally into a scramble.
By the number of consecutive bounces before the ball drops.
Because you are hitting it off-centre. The contact point on the paddle sets the rebound angle.
No, it is a streak game. You are beating your own best.
Yes, dragging with a finger is the natural control.
No. Bouncing Ball runs entirely inside this page, so it starts the moment the page opens. There is nothing to download, no plugin, and no account to create.
