Seasons shows a scene and asks which time of year it belongs to. Snow on the ground, blossom on the trees, falling leaves, blazing sun. Tap the right season and move on. It is a small quiz built on something children observe every year but do not always have the words for.
The learning here is about connecting evidence to a category. A child who works out that bare trees and snow mean winter is doing exactly the kind of reasoning that underpins early science: noticing features and using them to classify. It just happens to look like a picture quiz.
Ask what gave it away. When a child answers correctly, asking which detail told them turns a guess into understanding, and that conversation is where most of the value in a game like this sits.
Connect it to outside. Pointing out that the trees on your own street look like the ones in the picture makes the categories real rather than abstract, and children remember it far better.
Use wrong answers as the interesting moment. Getting one wrong is a chance to talk about what happens to plants and weather through the year, which is far more memorable than being right immediately.
Keep it short. A handful of questions is about right for a young attention span, and stopping while they are still enjoying it means they will come back.
