Drag the rabbit, collect carrots and dodge the rocks
| Drag | Move the rabbit. |
Rabbit Escape sends carrots and rocks streaming toward you, and gives you one job: gather the former while avoiding the latter. Drag the rabbit across the screen and try to thread a line that takes in as much as possible.
The interest is in the conflict. Carrots and rocks arrive mixed together, so the greedy line and the safe line are almost never the same, and every run is a series of small judgements about whether a particular carrot is worth the gap you would have to squeeze through.
Plan a lane rather than chasing individual carrots. Picking a path through the incoming stream and adjusting slightly is far safer than darting sideways for each one, which is how collisions happen.
Let awkward carrots go. One carrot is worth very little compared with ending the run, so if reaching it means passing close to a rock, it is not worth taking.
Move early and smoothly. Small adjustments made well in advance keep you in control, while sharp last-moment swerves tend to carry you into whatever is beside you.
Watch the top of the screen. That is where you learn what is coming, and reacting to what has already reached you is always too late.
By collecting carrots. The more you gather before crashing, the better.
Hitting a rock.
Yes, which is what makes the later stretches so tight.
Yes, dragging with a finger is the natural control.
No. Rabbit Escape runs entirely inside this page, so it starts the moment the page opens. There is nothing to download, no plugin, and no account to create.
