Number Sort is a pure speed test. The numbers are shuffled and your job is to tap them in ascending order as fast as you can. One wrong tap and you know about it immediately.
What it exercises is the same visual search that Number Chain uses, but the presentation rewards a slightly different approach. Because the numbers are arranged rather than scattered, you can plan a few taps ahead instead of hunting each one fresh.
Look ahead while you tap. Your finger and your eyes can work separately, so locating the next two numbers while tapping the current one is where the time savings are.
Do not rush the first few. Settling into a rhythm early is faster overall than a frantic start followed by mistakes, since a wrong tap costs more than a careful one saves.
Scan in a consistent direction. Sweeping the same way each time avoids revisiting areas you have already checked, which is the main source of wasted time.
Practise regularly rather than intensively. Visual search speed improves with repetition, and short frequent attempts build it faster than one long session.
By the time taken to tap every number in order, with your best saved in the browser.
You are told immediately and can continue from where you were.
The presentation differs, which rewards planning ahead rather than pure hunting.
Yes, visual search speed improves noticeably with regular short sessions.
Completely free, with no trial and no unlock. Number Sort loads with the page and plays immediately, without an install step or a video ad first.
