About this game

Knife Hit spins a wooden log and hands you a knife. Throw it in, then another, then another. The catch is that every knife you land becomes an obstacle for the next one, so the log fills up and the safe gaps shrink with every throw.

What makes it work is that the difficulty is self-inflicted. The log spins at the same speed throughout, and the only reason the seventh knife is harder than the first is that you put six others in the way.

Tips & strategy

Throw into the gaps, not at the log. Watching the spaces between your knives rather than the wood itself makes the timing far more obvious.

Get the early knives evenly spaced. Two knives close together create a permanently dead zone, whereas even spacing leaves usable gaps for the rest of the round.

Slow down as the log fills. There is no time pressure at all, so waiting for a comfortable gap costs you nothing and saves the run.

Watch the spin direction change. Each cleared log spins a fresh way, and throwing on the old rhythm is the usual cause of an early loss.

Questions

No. You can wait as long as you like before each throw.

Does the log speed up?

Each new log spins at a fresh random speed and direction.

How many knives per log?

Seven, after which you get a fresh log.
