Jigsaw Puzzle scrambles a picture into tiles and asks you to put it back together. Tap two pieces and they swap places. There is no dragging and no fiddly edges to align, which makes it far quicker than a physical jigsaw while keeping the part that actually matters: working out where each piece belongs.
Because the timer is running, this is a puzzle about recognition speed rather than patience. The picture gives you the clues, and the faster you can look at a fragment and know which corner of the image it came from, the faster the whole thing resolves.
Start with the corners and edges. They have the most distinctive content, usually a straight run of background, and locking them in place immediately narrows down where everything else can go.
Work on one recognisable feature at a time. If the picture has a bright object or a strong line running through it, assemble that region first. Complete areas give you reference points for the ambiguous pieces around them.
Do not swap blindly. Each swap moves two pieces, so a random swap that fixes one usually displaces another. Look for a piece that is definitely wrong and a place it definitely belongs, then make that exchange.
Leave the plain areas until last. Regions of flat colour are the hardest to place because they all look alike, and by the end they are the only pieces left, which means position alone tells you where they go.
Tap one piece and then another, and the two swap places. There is no dragging.
By how long you take to complete the picture, so your best time is what you are trying to beat.
No, the shuffle guarantees at least one swap is needed.
No limit, but the clock is running, so speed is the challenge.
