Cave Explorer sends you down into a winding cave system. Collect the stones scattered through the passages and find the marked exit, all without scraping the walls. Each level goes deeper and the passages get tighter.
What makes a descent game work is that you cannot go back. The cave scrolls past whether you are ready or not, so every decision about which passage to take has to be made before you can see where it leads. Reading the shape of the cave ahead is the entire skill.
Stay in the middle of passages. Hugging a wall leaves nowhere to go when the cave narrows unexpectedly, whereas a central line gives you room in both directions.
Commit to a route early. Hesitating at a fork is worse than choosing the harder passage confidently, because a half-committed drift usually clips the divider between them.
Take the stones that are on your way. Diverting to grab one at the far side of a chamber is how most runs end, and the score is not worth the crash.
Look at the far edge of the screen. The cave tells you what is coming several moments ahead, and reacting to what is already beside you is always too late.
By reaching the marked exit. Collecting stones on the way adds to your score.
